Chem101 is a classroom engagement app built specifically for college-level chemistry. Say goodbye to static content and generic multiple choice questions and hello to dynamic problems that are designed to help students learn and visualize abstract concepts in chemistry.Chem101 allows chemistry instructors to ask students engaging questions, such as drawing Lewis structures, and receive real-time information on what structures the class is drawing. The app features a custom-built tool that allows students and instructors to quickly and intuitively draw Lewis structures on mobile devices. Additionally, both students and instructors have access to over 200 built-in questions related to Lewis structures, resonance, molecular geometries, VSEPR, hybridization, sigma and pi bonding, and molecular polarity.Features:• Intuitive Lewis structures drawing tool built specifically for mobile devices - Use as engaging demonstration for your students to show example Lewis structures and reinforce concepts such as the octet rule, formal charge, and VSEPR. Students can take advantage of the drawing tool to visualize the relationship between Lewis structures and molecular shapes. • [COMING SOON TO ANDROID] Create in-class or homework assignments - Perfect for clicker, recitation, or review problems. Students receive push notifications to alert and remind them of pending assignments.• Practice with over 200 built-in questions related to Lewis structures, resonance, molecular geometries, VSEPR, hybridization, sigma and pi bonding, and molecular polarity. • [COMING SOON TO ANDROID] Real-time class results - Quickly find common incorrect structures to address student misunderstanding before exams.• Isoform recognition - Chem101’s technology recognizes correct answers independent of the drawn structure orientation.• [COMING SOON TO ANDROID] Export student activity - Student participation and performance exported in a tap of a button.• Easy sign-up - Students and instructors can create accounts and join courses all within the app in a few steps.• School IT and device independent - Assign, work, and review from any mobile device and over any network connection.More content and features coming soon!- Bug fixes

Great tool. Perfect for remote learning.

Andrew Margherio

Awful. Freezes constantly, and even when working at its best, it has terrible lag.

Dena Nagy

This was my second semester using Chem101. Chemistry is a difficult subject for me, and the practice problems my professors are able to assign through the app are invaluable. It is very intuitive to use, and the feedback on missed problems is even more helpful than the assigned textbook.

Nikita Sanchez

Amazing app. Works really well good UI and had a great experience. Particularly like the feedback given after a wrong answer - helps you learn what you did wrong.

Chem101 review I enjoyed using the chem 101 platform this semester. My past chemistry courses have utilized a different website, but I found that chem 101 is just better. I really appreciate the feedback thats given when a question is wrong, and it really helps point me in the right direction. I also love that there is an app that I can use on my phone, as well as the website. Overall, I hope that my next organic chemistry class uses Chem101 for a homework platform.

This app is awesome and I am so happy that I got to use it this semester because it made my work so much easier and I would highly recommend this app for everyone.

Adaku Dike

The app is easy and simple to use! Able to do my assignments on the go! Recommend it for students and teachers!

Katrina Druckenmiller

The app is very easy to use and I like how simple the formatting/design of the app is. Only downside i wished that it would've told you how you got the answer wrong after the 2 attempts.

Hannah Gim

It satisfies my expectations. It appears to make assignments and testing easier for the professor, and it makes it also easier and more efficient for the students. The professor once mentioned having some technical difficulties, but nothing too bad, I think, and he said he got help from customer service to resolve the issue. And I've never had any significant issues. So, I would say it's a worthy piece of software for chemistry teaching and learning.

Brandon Villalta

The Chem101 app significantly improved my comprehension and performance in my college level Organic Chemistry. I largely attribute the "A" I got in the class to this app! Highly recommend.
